Harris was the only player in the top six in the Big Ten Conference in scoring, rebounding, and assist average in a single season. He was the first player to achieve this feat since 1958, when Dave DeBusschere accomplished the feat. Harris finished the 2004–05 season with averages of 22.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
