The alias Rose Sélavy was adopted by Marcel Duchamp to sign some of his works, particularly during his Dadaist phase. Under this pseudonym, Duchamp created and exhibited a number of artworks, including the iconic "Belle Haleine, Eau de Voilette" readymade, which featured a perfume bottle with a nonsensical label.
