Austrian alpine skier Marcel Hirscher won his last World Cup race in the giant slalom at Kranjska Gora on 28 March 2020. He was 30 years old at the time. Hirscher is one of the most successful alpine skiers of all time, having won eight overall World Cup titles, seven World Championships, and two Olympic gold medals. He retired from competitive skiing after the 2020 season.
