Margaret of Anjou was a queen of England from 1445 to 1461. She was married to Henry VI, and they had two sons, Edward and Henry. In 1453, Henry VI suffered a mental breakdown, and Margaret was forced to rule as regent for him. She was a strong and capable ruler, but she was also unpopular with many people in England.
