Marie-Thérèse, daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, married Louis Antoine, Duke of Angoulême, in 1799. They were married in exile in Austria, and had two children together. The marriage was arranged by Napoleon Bonaparte, who wanted to strengthen his ties to the Bourbon family.
