Who succeeded Mark Latham as leader of the Australian Labor Party?

  • Simon Crean

  • Julia Gillard

  • Kim Beazley

Answer

Kim Beazley succeeded Mark Latham as leader of the Australian Labor Party after the 2001 election, in which Latham was defeated by the Liberal Party's John Howard. Beazley was unable to reverse the party's fortunes and was himself defeated in the 2004 election by Howard.
