What was the name of the England manager who initially played Peters in every position?

  • Bobby Charlton

  • Sir Alf Ramsey

  • Don Revie

  • Graham Taylor

Answer

Sir Alf Ramsey was the England manager who initially played Peters in every position. He did this because he was not sure where Peters would be most effective, and wanted to give him a chance to prove himself in all positions. Peters eventually settled into a role as a left-back, and became one of the most important players in the England team that won the 1966 World Cup.
