University of Cambridge is where Martin Ryle worked. He was an English radio astronomer who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1974 for his pioneering work in radio astronomy. Ryle was a professor of radio astronomy at the University of Cambridge from 1959 to 1983. He was also the director of the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory from 1957 to 1982.
