The Art Ross Trophy is awarded annually to the National Hockey League player who leads the regular season in scoring. St. Louis won his first Art Ross Trophy in 2004, a season in which he recorded 94 points (38 goals and 56 assists) in 82 games for the Calgary Flames. He became the first Flame to win the award since Kent Nilsson in 1981.
