Mary Boleyn's father was Thomas Boleyn, the 1st Earl of Wiltshire. He was an important diplomat and courtier during the reign of Henry VIII. Mary was one of his six children, and her sister, Anne Boleyn, would later become the second wife of Henry VIII.
