Ingemar Stenmark was inducted into the International Ski Racing Hall of Fame in 1989. He was a Swedish alpine skier who is widely considered one of the greatest skiers of all time. Stenmark won 86 World Cup races, a record that stood for 34 years until it was broken by Lindsey Vonn in 2015. He also won six World Championships and two Olympic gold medals.
