Mats Sundin was born in 1971. He is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player who played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). Sundin was drafted first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. He played for the Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vancouver Canucks during his NHL career.
