Answer
The Busby Babes were the young and talented Manchester United team of the 1950s. They were named after their manager, Matt Busby, and were the first team in England to win the European Cup. The team was devastated by the Munich air disaster in 1958, which killed eight players and injured several others. However, they rebuilt and went on to win the European Cup again in 1968.
