Matt Carpenter is a professional baseball player who currently plays for the St. Louis Cardinals. He attended Texas Christian University, where he played baseball for the TCU Horned Frogs. During his time at TCU, Carpenter was a two-time All-American and a two-time Big 12 Conference Player of the Year. He also led the Horned Frogs to the 2009 College World Series.
