Yes, Matt Derbyshire did play for Nottingham Forest. He joined the club on loan from Blackburn Rovers in January 2009 and made his debut against Crystal Palace. He scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers in February 2009. He went on to make 19 appearances for Nottingham Forest, scoring 5 goals, before returning to Blackburn Rovers at the end of the season.
