Maverick Viñales started his Grand Prix career in the 125cc class in 2011. He won the championship in 2013, becoming the youngest ever rider to win the title. He then moved up to the Moto2 class in 2014, where he finished third in the championship. He moved up to the MotoGP class in 2015, where he has finished in the top five in the championship every year since.
