From where did the neutrinos for Schwartz's experiment come?

  • Neutrino Beam

  • Radiation

  • Natural Decay

  • Sunlight

Answer

A neutrino beam is a beam of neutrinos. Neutrinos are subatomic particles that are so small that they are not affected by the strong nuclear force, and so they can pass through solid objects, including the Earth, without being absorbed. A neutrino beam can be created by accelerating protons in a particle accelerator, and then colliding them with a target, such as a block of lead.
