Mia Love served as the U.S. Representative for Utah's 4th congressional district from 2015 to 2019. She was the first black Republican woman elected to Congress and the first Haitian-American member of Congress. During her tenure, Love focused on issues such as education reform, job creation, and immigration. Despite her popularity within her district, she lost her bid for re-election in 2018 to Democrat Ben McAdams.
