Michael Clarke retired from all forms of cricket in 2015. He had been captain of the Australian cricket team since 2011, and led them to victory in the 2015 Cricket World Cup. After the World Cup, Clarke announced that he would be retiring from international cricket, and he played his final Test match in January 2016. He also retired from first-class cricket in February 2016.
