Mikael Lustig played professional football for 16 years, from 2004 to 2020. He started his career with Helsingborgs IF, where he made his debut in 2004. In 2008, he moved to Celtic, where he won 12 trophies, including five Scottish Premiership titles and four Scottish League Cups. In 2016, he moved to AIK, where he won the Swedish Allsvenskan title in 2018. He retired from professional football in 2020.
