Mike Bossy was a Canadian ice hockey player. He played for the New York Islanders in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1977 to 1987. He is one of the most prolific goal scorers in NHL history, and he led the league in goals scored twice in his career. In the 1980–81 season, he scored 53 goals, and in the 1981–82 season, he scored 61 goals.
