Michael Igor Peschkowsky was a Soviet agent who spied on the United States during the Cold War. He was born in Russia in 1942 and emigrated to the United States with his family in 1960. He worked as a translator for the CIA from 1962 to 1977, during which time he passed classified information to the Soviet Union. He was arrested in 1977 and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
