In addition to being the Second Imam of Jum'ah in Tabriz, Mir Asadollah Madani also held the role of Imam of Jumu'ah in Hamadan. He was a prominent cleric and scholar who was active in the Safavid era. He was born in Tabriz and studied at the seminary there. He also traveled to Najaf and Karbala to study with other leading scholars.
