Answer
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal, was a major international agreement negotiated by Mohammad Javad Zarif, the former Iranian Foreign Minister. The deal was signed in 2015 between Iran and the P5+1 (the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China, and Germany). The JCPOA aimed to limit Iran's nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.
