Iran has condemned the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh as an act of state terror. Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement that the attack was "an act of state terror committed by the Zionist regime" and that Iran would hold Israel accountable. He also called on the international community to condemn the assassination and to demand that Israel end its nuclear weapons program.
