Muhammad bin Nayef is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the son of Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who was the Minister of the Interior from 1975 to 2012 and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 2012 to 2015. Muhammad bin Nayef was appointed as the Crown Prince in June 2017, following the death of his half-brother, King Salman.
