Answer
Sahih al-Bukhari, compiled by the Persian scholar Muhammad al-Bukhari, is widely regarded as the most authentic collection of hadiths, or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. The compilation process spanned several years, beginning in 846 when Bukhari embarked on a rigorous journey to collect and verify hadiths. Bukhari meticulously examined over 600,000 hadiths and selected only the most reliable ones, resulting in a collection of approximately 7,563 hadiths.
