Nacer Chadli switched his international allegiance to Belgium at the age of 21. He had previously played for the Netherlands at youth level, but decided to represent the country of his birth at senior level. He made his international debut for Belgium in 2010 and has since gone on to make over 50 appearances for the team. He has also represented Belgium at the World Cup and the European Championship.
