In 1890, Nadar's son, Paul Nadar, took over the studio and continued his father's work, photographing many famous people of the time, including Sarah Bernhardt, Victor Hugo, and Émile Zola. Paul Nadar also experimented with new photographic techniques, such as photomontage and color photography.
