Answer
The English National League is the fifth tier of English football, and consists of three divisions: the National League, National League North and National League South. The league was formed in 2004, and replaced the Conference National and the Northern Premier League as the top two divisions of non-league football in England. The National League is a professional league, while the National League North and South are semi-professional.
