Yes. Neeraj Chopra threw 86.48 metres in the men's javelin throw at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland. This was a new world record for the U20 category, breaking the previous record of 84.95 metres set by Jan Zelezny in 1992. Chopra's throw also made him the first Indian to win a gold medal at the World U20 Championships.
