Nero Claudius Drusus was a Roman general and politician. He was the younger brother of Emperor Tiberius and the father of Emperor Claudius. Drusus died in 9 BC after falling from his horse during a military campaign in Germania. His soldiers erected the Drususstein in his honor. The Drususstein is a large stone slab that is inscribed with a dedication to Drusus.
