Answer
Nicolai Hartmann was not a Roman philosopher. Instead, he was a Baltic German philosopher. Unlike Roman philosophers who primarily lived and influenced philosophy during the ancient Roman period, Hartmann was born in Riga, Latvia (then a part of the Russian Empire) in 1882. He made significant contributions to phenomenological ontology and metaphysics in the 20th century.
