Hiroyama did play in the J. League Division 1. He was a member of the Yokohama F. Marinos, a Japanese professional football club based in Yokohama, Kanagawa, that plays in the J1 League. Hiroyama played for the Marinos from 2008 to 2010. He was a defender and made 31 appearances for the club. Hiroyama also represented Japan at the international level.
