Ole Einar Bjørndalen was born on January 27, 1974. He is a retired Norwegian biathlete who is widely regarded as one of the greatest biathletes of all time. Bjørndalen competed in five Winter Olympics, winning a total of 13 medals, including eight gold medals. He also won 20 medals at the Biathlon World Championships, including 11 gold medals. Bjørndalen retired from competition in 2018.
