What did he design after moving on from automated mills?

  • Electric car

  • High-pressure steam engine

  • Telephone

  • Radio

Answer

After moving on from automated mills, James Watt designed a high-pressure steam engine that was much more efficient than the earlier Newcomen engine. The Watt engine used a separate condenser, which kept the piston cool and allowed the engine to operate more continuously. It also had a rotary motion, which could be used to power a variety of machines.
