Ottokar II, also known as Ottokar Přemysl, was the second-born son of King Wenceslaus I and Queen Kunigunda of Bohemia. As the second in line to the throne, he initially served as Margrave of Moravia before ascending to the position of King of Bohemia upon his father's death in 1253.
