Paul Dirac was a British physicist who is known for his work on quantum mechanics. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1933 for his work on the Dirac equation. In 1972, Dirac moved to the United States and joined Florida State University as a professor of physics. He died in 1984 at the age of 82.
