The Confederations Cup is an international football tournament for national teams, organized by FIFA. It is held every four years, one year before the FIFA World Cup. The tournament was first held in 1992 as the King Fahd Cup, and was renamed the FIFA Confederations Cup in 1997. Brazil has won the tournament four times, in 1997, 2005, 2009, and 2013.
