Bure played for three NHL teams: the Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, and New York Rangers. He was drafted by the Canucks in the first round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. He played for the Canucks for nine seasons, during which he was named to the NHL All-Star Team six times and won the Art Ross Trophy as the league's leading scorer in 1992-93.
