Perpessicius died on March 29, 1971. He was a Romanian poet and literary critic, known for his contributions to the modernist movement. Perpessicius was born in Bucharest in 1891. He studied law at the University of Bucharest, but abandoned his studies to pursue a career in literature. He began publishing his poetry in the early 1920s, and his first collection of poems, "Între timp", was published in 1923.
