Answer
Gemini 11 was the eleventh crewed Gemini mission and the sixth of twelve Gemini flights. It was flown by Gemini veteran Charles "Pete" Conrad and Richard F. Gordon Jr., and launched on September 12, 1966. The primary objective of the mission was to perform a rendezvous and docking with an Agena target vehicle, the first time that this had been done in space.
