Peter Bosz was a professional football player before he became a manager. He played for a number of Dutch clubs, including Vitesse Arnhem, RKC Waalwijk and Feyenoord. He also had a short spell in the English Premier League with Coventry City. Bosz retired from playing in 2001 and began his managerial career the following year.
