FMedSci stands for Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, a British learned society of medical scientists, physicians and medical practitioners. The Academy was founded in 1991 by the Royal Society of London to recognise outstanding contributions to biomedical research and to promote the translation of research into better patient care.
