Philip Erskine Hill (April 20, 1927 – August 3, 2008) was an American racing driver who won the 1961 Formula One World Drivers' Championship and two 24 Hours of Le Mans victories. He was also a member of the winning Ferrari team at the 1963 24 Hours of Daytona. Hill was the first American to win the World Drivers' Championship.
