Claude Renoir was a filmmaker. He was the grandson of the famous painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Claude Renoir was born in Paris in 1913 and died in Los Angeles in 1993. He directed a number of films, including "The Little Match Girl" (1938), "The Story of G.I. Joe" (1945), and "The Diary of Anne Frank" (1959).
