Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (1 May 1850 – 16 January 1942) was a member of the British Royal Family. The second son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, he was created Duke of Connaught and Strathearn on his birth. He served in the British Army, reaching the rank of Field Marshal.
