Proclus was a Greek philosopher who lived from 412 to 485 AD. He was a student of Syrianus and was one of the last major philosophers of Late Antiquity. Proclus was a Neoplatonist, and his philosophy was heavily influenced by Plato and Plotinus. Proclus's major work is the Elements of Theology, which is a systematic exposition of Neoplatonic metaphysics.
