Rafik Djebbour retired as a professional footballer after a long career that spanned over 20 years. He played for a number of clubs in his native France, as well as in Greece, Turkey, and Qatar. He was a prolific goalscorer and was known for his speed and dribbling ability. He also represented the Algerian national team on 52 occasions, scoring 12 goals. Djebbour retired from professional football in 2018.
