Answer
The Good Friday Experiment was a double-blind experiment conducted in 1962 by Walter Pahnke and Ram Dass to test the effects of psilocybin, a psychoactive compound found in certain mushrooms. The study took place at a Protestant seminary in Marsh Chapel at Boston University and involved 29 divinity students. Twelve of the students were given psilocybin, while the remaining 17 were given a placebo.
